As a recovered alcoholic for nearly 16 yrs I know that any drug taken that alters mental state, with the exception of brain chemistry balance drugs, is perpetrating the addict mentality as well as the addictive behaviors of emotion avoidance and escape from reality.Complete abstinence is the only qualified remedy to avoid the reaction of physical craving associated with chemical/alcoholic addiction.
