drug abuse effects relationships in many ways. First of all you find yourself trying to help or fix the partner abusing drugs. You worry constantly if they are ok or if they are dead somewhere due to an overdose…ect. Your relationship will suffer from your the stress due to trying to keep a drug addict clean. Your partner will become dependant on you. Also drug abusers only care for themselves and do not see anything but that drug. They will steal from you, betray you. There personalities change…..they become irritable. They may wind up in jail and then again feeling that you are obligated to help them through thier sentace you will have outrageouse phone bills, fillig thier canteen every week will set you broke. If your man or girl is abusing drugs let them go. you cant help them…they can only help themselves and you are in for a long emotional ride to debt and heartbreak

drug abuse can totally screw up a relationship because the one who is using the drugs can do anything to get drugs if he or she can not afford them, including prostitution for a woman – giving th man a chance to get a disease, robbery – possibly putting one of the partners in the relationship in jail, and so on.
If you are in a relationship, or thinking of one, with a drug abuser, you are looking at only problems in the future unless the other person gets help and gets off the drugs.
