CTN Webinar: Strategies to Improve Treatment Adherence in CTN Research Protocols. – This 90-minute webinar, produced by the National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network (CTN) Clinical Coordinating Center for CTN members and the public, discusses recommended techniques to assure and/or improve treatment adherence. The discussion includes ways that adherence problems show in clinical settings, factors affecting adherence, and the impact of adherence on treatment outcomes. A major emphasis is on reviewing both clinical and systems strategies to improve adherence to study interventions throughout a research project. The target audience is CTN members and other researchers and clinicians interested in substance abuse research in clinical settings.
