Can Chiropractor Fix Subluxation and Twisted Spine? I Went to Them to See if I Had Fibromyalgia.?
Question by bjwill72961: Can Chiropractor fix Subluxation and twisted Spine? I went to them to see If I had Fibromyalgia.?
I have been in pain many years I was told a Chirpractor could help with the pain so I went and seems all she wanted to do was RUN Up a BIG Bill and empty my husbands billfold. My initial exam was $ 225.His was $ 75. They done a Heat Scan of my spine to see where the Hot Spots were to Show where the inflamation was at. Then they done a foot scan found out I have lost the Lateral and Transverse Arches. And have Bone Degeneration in Both feet. I have major Nerve Damage in my spine. Started asking all these personal questions. If I was in an abusive marriage. If I had been sexually assaulted. Ever used street drugs. If I was an alcoholic. Then they done Xrays of my neck and spine and found out I have a twist in my neck and 14 Bone spurs and a twist in my lower spine and 21 bone spurs. I have lost the natural curve in my Neck and Lower Back. Then yes I am over weight But she decides I needed these $ 350 shoe insoles. I refused them Told her I did not have the money. Then she wants me and my husband to come 3 times a week Cost of $ 300 a week. Wants us on her special weight loss powder $ 600 hundred a jar. We can start a plan it is only $ 3700 for a year for me and add my husband for $ 1200 for his year. All together it is only $ 7000 for 1 year of her care. I refused and Pissed her off. But the only thing she done in 3 treatments was this little like Hard Vibrating Device on our Spine and put us on a Swivel Chair. It makes a noise like a Jack Hammer. She said it aligns the Spine naturally. And relieves the muscle strain. No hands on Care. Should We find another Doctor?

A subluxation is simply a place in your spine where vertebra are out of place.
Fibromyalgia is actually a combination of symptoms that involves muscular pain and discomfort and an overall lack of energy. Your problem could just simply be an unhealthy lifestyle. The term fibromyalgia is overused and just a name slapped on a bunch of symptoms by conventional medicine.
Your best bet would be to see an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner.
If you decide you want to continue with Chiropractic treatment, I’d look for someone else. The one you went to seems to be rather over the top. Anyone who asks you to commit to a lengthy treatment schedule at a fixed price up front isn’t trustworthy. No one has a crystal ball that indicates how long a treatment will take or what the results will be. Contact your local Chiropractic Association to get proper referrals.
Sensible eating plans that involve reducing your consumption of soft drinks, sugar, products containing gluten (bread, pasta, potatoes), and avoiding fast and processed foods will allow you to lose weight. Regular exercise, even just walking for 30 minutes a day will help too.

You really need to see a medical doctor for a proper assessment, it’s clear that this quack hasn’t a clue what she’s doing.
“The one you went to seems to be rather over the top.”
“…Rather over the top” ? Even when it’s obvious that someone is being blatantly scammed you haven’t got the guts to admit it.
