when i got surgery i had to sign a consent form bout hiv and drug abuse, why is that?

come on dude dont ask dumb questions…hiv form is because ur having surgery and dont you think your providers need to know. drug use form is for your own good becasue some of the medicines they use could interact with drugs you use…
