If they haven’t already, I’d find someone-experienced in documentary filmaking-to photo document the life of a teen drug addict. The subject(s) can graphically tell, without “sanitized” clean up, how messed up their lives have become, how hard each day is to fight the addiction….and also show a few who lose such battles.
Have the subject(s) make it clear to each student audience this COULD be them if they cross the line and use illegal addicting drugs.
