Where Should I Go to Start Over? I Need to Leave. Please Help and Serious Answers Only. Please Read?

Question by Zed: Where should I go to start over? I need to leave. Please help and serious answers only. Please read?
I live in Florida currently. Where should I go to start over? I want to start over?
IVe had suicidal thoughts for a week now. I tried seeking help but I now think that it’s pointless. I just want to take my stuff up and leave to somewhere. I want to leave tonight. I think that the only way to escape these thoughts is start over. Where should I go? Has anyone done anything like this? I don’t plan on talking to anyone anymore. I want to just be alone. Please where would the best place to go be and what should I do? Please don’t say go and talk to someone because I honestly can’t be helped at this point. Please only things related to where I should go and what to do.

Please, please if you have experinece with this please email me at [email protected]
and please serious answers only

Thanks a lot.

As I understand it, most of those who have been saved from committing suicide later realized that they were experiencing a temporary state of mind; and they were glad that they had not been successful. Moving may change the scenery, but lack of familiarity with the surroundings may increase your frustration.

You could be helped through psychological counseling (city or county mental health facility). Some forms of psychological counseling rely on behavior changes rather than exploring the reasons for the behavior; as with phobias, where sometimes treatment consists of gradual desensitization. Most people can identify their own problems, although they lack the ability to follow-through with changing themselves.

A therapist cannot cure you, but they can guide you to understand your subconscious thoughts that may be controlling your behavior, or provide alternate behaviors to reprogram your brain (cognitive behavioral therapy), and a psychiatrist may provide drugs to combat a possible chemical imbalance.

Thinking positively about one’s self and doing what needs to be done (particularly when it is hard to do) can go a long way, and thinking positive thoughts is more effective than trying to suppress negative thoughts. It has been proven that even fake laughter triggers a biochemical reaction in the brain that positively alters one’s perspective.

Establishing a habit to replace a habit that is the result of many years of practice is very difficult, particularly if it involves behavior that has become a character trait. If you start slow and gradually increase you will have a better chance of making it a habit. Of course, it will take 3 weeks or more to establish a replacement habit, and longer if it involves a firmly entrenched trait. During that time period, you have to commit yourself to doing something you don’t really want to do. Also, self-absorption is a symptom of depression.

All mental processes are bio-chemical in nature; there is empirical evidence confirming that artificial laughter alters the brain chemistry in a positive way. The American Journal of Physiology (Sep 2011) explained how exercise improves memory, treats depression, and makes people feel better. And, one should not underestimate the effects of proper diet (minimal sugar, avoid processed and refined foods; seek out whole grains, fruits and vegetables, seeds and nuts), avoiding drugs (legal and illegal) and alcohol, and adequate sleep (consistent each day and preferably more than 7 hours), which are essential for optimal physical and mental functioning. ADHD can be treated in this way. And, meditation has been proven to reduce stress (many books are available). Also, self-absorption can be associated with some level of depression.
